Joseph Sampson, one of our ASE Alumni, is doing some amazing things in Nigeria, Africa. Read the latest below:

I am Joseph Maren Sampson from Nigeria an ASE ALUMNI. I attended Nairobi International School of Theology now International Leadership University and graduated in 2007. I received ASE Funding for two years while in NIST. Immidiately i returned to Nigeria after graduation in 2007, i started a Peace NGO working in crisis communities through training, reconciliation and advocacy. The support i received from ASE was timely because i was at the verge of dropping out of the Masters program due to lack of finances. ASE came to the rescue. Today, as a result of this support, my NGO is supporting 64 Orphans with free basic primary and secondary education. I work with over 20 different Churches across six States in Nigeria. Yearly we trained over 5,000 religious and community leaders on leadership, counseling and peace related issues. I also started a Peace College in 2009 which has been offering programs at certificate, Diploma, First degree and Masters levels. We have a student enrollment of over 100 in the Peace College. I have been able to achieve this because ASE provided the support. I remain grateful to ASE and will work to ensure that ASE becomes a household name in Nigeria. Thank you.
